These terms govern bookings placed through syoncleaning.co.uk with Syon Cleaning Ltd. By confirming a booking you agree to them.

1. The service

Syon Cleaning Ltd operates a marketplace of independent Syon Certified specialists. Each job is fulfilled by one accountable operator. Every price quoted is fixed and includes VAT, materials and travel unless clearly noted.

2. Bookings and payment

Bookings are confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email. Payment is taken via Stripe at the point of booking and held; funds release to us after your clean is completed and signed off. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you submit (address, access, preferred date).

3. Access and safety

You agree to provide safe, lawful access to the property, running hot water and electricity. If access is denied or the property is unsafe on arrival, we may charge a call-out fee of £45 to cover the wasted slot.

4. Rescheduling and cancellations

  • Free reschedule or cancellation up to 48 hours before your slot.
  • Within 48 hours: 50% of the booking value.
  • Within 24 hours or no-show: 100% of the booking value.

5. Fair Use and Excess Soil

Quotes assume a standard level of soiling. Extreme conditions (biohazard, void hoarding, heavy nicotine tar, unusual pet damage, wet paint, unset silicone) may incur an Excess Soil surcharge. We always pause, document the issue with photos, and only proceed after you approve the surcharge in writing. Everyday pet hair and family-home living are covered.

6. 48-Hour Free Re-Clean Guarantee

For End of Tenancy Passes, if your inventory clerk or landlord flags cleaning-related issues within 48 hours of completion, we return and re-clean the flagged areas at no charge on production of the original report.

7. Liability

We hold £5m public liability insurance. Claims for damage must be reported in writing within 48 hours of the clean. Our liability is limited to the value of the booking except where the law provides otherwise. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

8. Complaints

Email info@syoncleaning.co.uk within 48 hours of the clean with photos of any issue. We aim to acknowledge within one working hour and resolve within 5 working days.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
